What happens when you get married in the winter? A lot of people can’t come. Knowing this, we also planned a reception in April of 2011. We planned a nautical theme and found the perfect venue.
It was another DIY day: we made the bouquets, centerpieces, stationery, and really had fun with it.
We kept an anchor theme throughout and my parents surprised us with a wild cake! Our wedding party was small – just the way we wanted it. Plus, I got to wear my dress AGAIN! What more can a girl ask for?
We partied the night away and after all was said and done we finally took a well-needed honeymoon – but that’s for tomorrow!
